Dusty’s Sweeping Cleanup
(Final project of the DESS en design de jeux at the University of Montreal)
Dusty’s Sweeping Cleanup is a fast-paced arcade game set in open levels where players are free to plot their own course. The player takes on the role of a robot vacuum cleaner on a fabulous cleaning adventure in a special house.
The game is divided into different levels on a progressive difficulty curve. During each level, the player tries to clean up as much dirt as possible in the allotted time to achieve the highest score, while trying to find as many collectibles as possible.
With deliberately unpredictable physical objects, an array of environmental hazards and zany enemies, Dusty is designed to be a gaming experience full of surprises!
I wrote the PlayerController script, did the audio integration through Wwise, created the living room level (as well as the music for that level), half of the kitchen level, most of the tutorial level, and many other small bits and pieces.
You can get the game for free on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3053300/Dustys_Sweeping_Cleanup/
Forest Rites
(Personal project)
This one started as a solo board game, but it soon became clear that it would only truly reach its full potential as a video game!
It’s a card game loosely inspired by classic trick-taking games. It features a roguelike structure, in which the player goes through a gauntlet of different adversaries to finish the game, which lasts about 45 minutes.
The wonderful Néna Hendrick [@yoven_illustrations] did all the art and most of the UI. The amazing Stéphanie Hamelin [https://www.stephaniehamelintomala-filmmusiccomposer.com/] did the music. I did everything else.
The game will be available for free on Steam starting July 16, 2025: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3829300/Forest_Rites/
Untitled Mouse Game
(Student project)
A game I made with two other people, Achraf Bouaoune and Maude Gauthier, for a videogame prototyping course at university.
I was responsable for the enemies’ AI, made some basic things for the player controller, most of the logic behind the pick-ups, a little bit of UI, and helped finalize some aspects of the level design.
